Your vacation begins the very evening of your departure. In our UEX BordBistro, you can wind down comfortably on the first day of your trip and look forward to the days ahead in the mountains over a drink or snack. Meet other passengers, chat about slopes, ski resorts, and the best runs, or simply enjoy the special atmosphere of a shared overnight train journey to the Alps.

More space thanks to the free ski compartment
To ensure you can relax and enjoy your trip right from the start, we offer our winter sports guests a free ski compartment for skis and snowboards. This leaves more space in your own compartment for luggage and personal items.
Your winter sports equipment will be stored separately during the trip and is securely stowed away. This gives you more room to move around in the seating, reclining, or sleeping cars and makes traveling together even more enjoyable, especially for groups.

With the UEX car train, your trip south gets off to a relaxing start. While you spend the night in comfort on the train, your car simply travels along with you. From Hamburg and Düsseldorf, we’ll take you and your car to Munich, Villach, and Lörrach. From there, you can start your vacation on your own terms and reach numerous destinations in the south—from the Alps and the Carinthian lakes to Italy and Slovenia, all the way to the Adriatic Sea.
