Train4you GmbH, with its “Urlaubs-Express” brand, is one of the leading providers of car-carrying train services in Germany. With our own fleet of sleeper cars, couchette cars, and car-carrying cars, we have been safely and comfortably transporting our guests and their vehicles to attractive vacation destinations on domestic and international overnight trains since 2017.
To strengthen our team and as part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking dedicated long-distance passenger train operators (m/f/d) for our locations in Hamburg and Cologne to start as soon as possible.
- Independently operate modern, high-performance electric and diesel locomotives in compliance with applicable operational, legal, and safety regulations.
- Preparing the trains for departure
- Safe, anticipatory, and passenger-oriented driving and braking
- Completed vocational training as a locomotive driver with driving licence class B according to TfV
- At least one year of professional experience
- Unrestricted, valid medical certificate for employment as a train operator
- Passed a psychological aptitude test, if required
- Offices Cologne and Hamburg
- If possible, familiarity with the BR 145, 182, 185, 186, 187, 189, and 193 series—but not required
- Full-time position with permanent contract
- A very good working atmosphere among employees, dispatchers, and supervisors
- Above-average pay, depending on qualifications
