An Overview of Our Loading Stations
Hamburg-Altona
Vehicle loading begins right at the Altona train station. You can reach the terminal via Präsident-Krahn-Straße.

Due to construction work, the Innsbruck loading terminal will be unavailable during the 2026/2027 winter season and the 2027 summer season. Please use our alternative UEX terminals.
Please note the following information regarding the car train
When booking, please provide the exact vehicle details from your vehicle registration certificate. Length, width, height, and weight are important for our capacity planning and will be included in the contract of carriage. Do not estimate the vehicle dimensions. If there are discrepancies, it may not be possible to load the vehicle on site. By the way: With Urlaubs-Express, the vehicle’s weight does not affect the fare.
Vehicle Height and Attachments: When considering the specified vehicle height, please take into account all attachments, such as roof racks or roof boxes. Roof racks can be removed and loaded separately for a fee, provided this has been booked in advance. In this case, please bring the tools required for removal.
Bicycles on Rear Racks: Bicycles may be transported on appropriate rear racks, provided that the vehicle’s permissible dimensions are not exceeded. The rack must be approved for the weight of the bicycles being transported; homemade racks are not permitted.
Changing Vehicles After Booking: If you change your vehicle after booking, please notify our Service Center if the dimensions of the new vehicle exceed those of the vehicle originally booked. A change is possible for a fee, provided there is still available capacity for the larger vehicle.
