Our motorail trains depart from the terminal at Düsseldorf Central Station and travel to Innsbruck and Villach in Carinthia. In addition to our regular guests from North Rhine-Westphalia, we also welcome passengers from Belgium and the Netherlands every year, who save themselves hundreds of kilometres of motorway and arrive in Austria well rested.
From check-in to securing the load – how car transport works
At check-in you will receive detailed information from our staff about the further procedure. Loading onto the car transporters usually takes place from approx. 120 minutes before the departure of the Urlaubs-Express. The couchette and sleeper cars will be ready for boarding at the car and motorcycle loading station at Düsseldorf Central Station while they are being loaded.

On-board service: On all connections, we offer an at-seat service by our UEX crew outside of the night-time rest periods. They will be happy to provide you with hot and cold snacks, as well as drinks. On our trains, you can enjoy the popular UEX on-board breakfast (bookable) in the morning, with bread rolls, margarine, jam, cheese, breakfast bars and a hot drink. Please speak to our UEX service staff in the evening and let them know what time you would like breakfast. We recommend that you make your breakfast choice at the time of booking.
