Control Centre Dispatcher (m/f/d)
In order to adapt our team to our constant growth, we are looking for aManagement Position Dispatcher (m/f/d) at our Cologne location to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Planning, organisation and control of the operational railway business
- Disposition of employees and vehicles as well as the documentation of operational procedures
- Preparation of documents/data collection for service processing and benefit accounting
- Interface to sales, external service providers, train drivers and wagon masters
- Development of short-term solutions in the event of operational disruptions, vehicle breakdowns or staff absences
- Cooperation and coordination with the responsible RUs and EIUs at home and abroad
- Documentation of operational deviations
- Disposition of the supply of vehicles for maintenance and repair
Your skills:
- Good knowledge of the operational procedures in railway operations as well as the relevant regulations in railway operations,
- Professional experience in dispatching or control centre desirable
- Qualification as a train driver (m/f/d) or professional experience in operational service desirable
- Confident handling of common PC programs
- Acting on one’s own responsibility, independent decision-making
- Ability to solve problems even in difficult or hectic situations
- Initiative, ability to work in a team, organisational talent, reliability, assertiveness
- Willingness to work alternating shifts (early/late/night)
