KITZBÜHEL

Skiing in Kitzbühel

A sophisticated lifestyle meets an idyllic landscape: the legendary sports town of Kitzbühel is famous above all for its Hahnenkamm, but the region has much more to offer – from via ferratas to show mines. The town, which is home to a population of just under 12,000, enchants visitors all year round with its romantic old town alleys, down-to-earth and high-class restaurants, and a modern pedestrian zone with numerous boutiques, cafés, bars, cinemas and a casino. In short: hardly any other town combines traditional idyll and sparkling lifestyle as charmingly as Kitzbühel. Winter sports in particular have a long tradition in the Gamsstadt, and the Kitzbühel ski area is repeatedly voted one of the best in the world. In addition to the exciting city life, there is also plenty to discover in the surrounding mountains and neighbouring villages of Reith bei Kitzbühel, Aurach and Jochberg. Photo: Adobe Stock/Eva Bocek
