For the UEX car trains at our location in Hamburg we are looking for fitters m/f/d in maintenance of rail vehicles.
Your tasks
- As part of our maintenance team, you will ensure that maintenance work on our passenger train and car transport wagons is carried out completely and properly in accordance with the scheduling, technical and economic specifications.
- As a metalwork specialist, you will be responsible for welding and soldering work in particular and ensure the safety, reliability and comfort of our vehicles.
- You use your manual skills to support the team with all maintenance issues.
- You record data and information on the order documents, keep lists of defects as well as measurement and documentation sheets and report to the Head of Maintenance.
Your qualities
- You have completed vocational training as a fitter or mechatronics technician with appropriate qualifications, possibly with rail-specific training (e.g. wagon technician).
- It is desirable, but not a requirement, that you have experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles.
- You are willing to familiarize yourself with the special technical challenges of our vehicle fleet.
- You are particularly conscientious and aware of costs and safety.
You are reliable, flexible and a team player.
You can solve difficult situations through commitment and creativity. - You are familiar with common software programs and can communicate in German as required for the job.
