In winter 2024, we will again be offering motorail connections to Innsbruck, Munich, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Travelling in our comfortable trains not only saves you up to 1,000 road kilometres each way – often in bad weather conditions – but also a lot of stress on the motorways. This relaxed journey is easy on your nerves and, of course, on our climate. Whether it’s a harmonious family holiday, a skiing holiday with your best friends or simply a couple’s holiday in a wellness hotel in Tyrol: with the Urlaubs-Express you will always arrive at your destination well rested! Our additional and free service: You can store your ski luggage in the ski compartments specially provided for this purpose. We wish you lots of fun and good relaxation during your winter holidays.
Of course, the Urlaubs-Express can also be booked as a classic night train without taking a vehicle. Our “pedestrians” can use all the en-route stations on offer for getting on and off the train. Please note that vehicles can only be loaded and unloaded at our terminals in Innsbruck, Munich, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. You can choose between cosy sleeping and couchette coaches. Seat reservation is automatically included at no extra cost! On all UEX trains there is of course hot coffee and a delicious breakfast (bookable) before arriving at your destination. With the UEX Board Breakfast start the day well and your well-deserved holiday.
